Just remember the original and first mob movie that put mob movies on the map was The Godfather. Hands down the first two Godfathers were the two best mob movies ever made.

New Jack City, King of New York, Carlito's Way or Empire didn't make the cut? Granted these aren't gangster movies based on Italian mobsters, but neither is Brian De Palma's Scarface, which is about a Cuban drug lord and has nothing to do with the "mob", but yet made your list.

Definitely not my favorite Genre. The only movies up there I really liked are the Departed and the Untouchables. That list does include the most overated movie of all time and that is Scarface.
