LG tvs, any good? - Blu-ray Forum

I eventually wanna get a nice big flat panel, either LCD or plasma. Around the 40-42 inch size range.

At Futureshop lately they have had great prices on LG's tvs.

What I am wondering is if their performance and reliability is any good. What are the pros and cons of these tvs.

I have the movie "the Game Plan" on BD running on a 1080p LG recently and the PQ looked amazing.

I had a 32in a year ago. Paid $1500 for it. You can get it for under a grand nowIt was really good. Games: Awesome. Movies: So, So. Had problems with veiwing dark made movies. American Pie was a horrible made movie. Had to crank the Contrast and Brightness all the way up. If its for games. Go for it.

I'm a sales person in an electronic store. LG is a good averange model you get good quality for the price but it's definately not a High end performance TV.
Good TV for the price, probably the best brand in mid-range models. There is a good drop on the 42 LBX by the way
