I got the Belkin "pure audio" Line-Conditioner/surge protector just a couple weeks ago for $45 or so.... buy.com also...... I can't pull up the link you posted right now, probably work's firewall, but either way, if you want/need the bells and whistles.... get what you want!

Hey i have the belkin pf60 and lately thing seems more like junk then anything. Ive had it for about a year and i dont think it does much of anything for me.
I really need somthing to regulate the voltage coming in my room because it tends to fluctuate a lot !! This thing lately has been almost freezing up ( don't know if thats normal or not) when it gets to low in voltage. One day i came down nothing turned on and it was around 58-70volts? not even near the normal 120v. this has happened twice now in the last few weeks. Sometimes the belkin power switch wont shut off or do anything so i have to unplug it to reset it.. The APC H15 is looking better by the day. Last edited by rickdeth; 03-17-2009 at 03:12 AM. |

If your voltage varies no power conditioner, no matter how expensive, is designed to handle that. A conditioner is a conditioner, not a voltage stabilizer. I have a PF60 for my upstairs stereo and I never had a problem with it. |

I'm an area with fluctuating, dirty power (245V typical) and frequent brown outs
PF 60 is great..filter quality is top notch! Power protection has saved my system at least once.(under voltage) I have cooked 2 big "Monster" units in a short period of time previously. negatives? display is pretty naf and should havea switch off display mode..many inputs that I don't need..and on/off switching is NOT instant (4-8 secs even with the timer delays not on). BUT it works well as a PF and over/under volt protection. I rate this unit 8 out of 10 , have ordered a second one dedicated to a big amp and would recommend it as a purchase. |

i have a pf30 and it rocks socks. i wish i would have held out for the 60 would have matched better.
as far as my pf30 goes it has protected my stuff once already, cleaned up my wireing and provides clean power. did it improve sound and vision ....EHHHH, not sure but 100% piece of mind was good for only 60 bucks off of craigslist..lol |
