OK, so... we've remodeled the house and put my 2 daughters in one very large bedroom (formerly a bonus room). It has a TV cubby, so we've left the TV and their TiVo in the room.
We have TiVo KidsZone turned on, so their channel selections are limited. However, I want to restrict the times they can watch it (no late-night Nick Toons or early morning TV when they should be getting ready for school). I need a device that can do this. If it's something as simple as a timer I can plug into the wall that turns off the power to the TV during a specific time, that's OK. But I'm OK with going high-tech and getting something wireless or home-networkable that would let me turn it off via a GUI. Any suggestions? Does such a thing exist? |
