Question about cop missions in GTA4 - Blu-ray Forum

Hi, I hope it's OK to post this kind of question here. If not, my apologies to all.

After I did the hit job for Brucie he call me to tell me that I should do that more often, meaning steal a police car to whack people for money.

I did just that, I stole a squad car, then looked up the "Most Wanted" list and clipped them but never got any money.

I also checked Brucie's options on my cell phone while I was on the car to see if a hit job would appear but there was nothing.

Am I missing something?

Nope...the cop missions are just for fun...I really don't think anything happens if you do all of them...I think R* put the mission in so you would know about the cop terminal.

Doing the cop missions is a requirement to get 100% game completion. Im not sure, but I think you unlock a new car also.

Brucie doesn't give you Hitman type missions. The only side-quest missions you get from him are Exotic Exports where you have to steal 10 cars and deliver them to his garage.

Cop cares, can do one of two things. You can do Vigilante missions which shows active crimes that you have to stop. Do at least 20 for 2.5% towards 100% game completion. Most Wanted missions, there are 30 across all islands (10 on each island) and you have to find and kill the person that is wanted. Doing all of these gives you another 2.5% towards 100% game completion.

Do you get any sweet cars or other perks for doing the cop missions or or just a few percentage points towards 100% ?
