Review of the Longest Day & Bridge Too Far - Blu-ray Forum

The Longest Day, A Bridge Too Far, and The Battle of Britain were released on the same day as Patton and Sand Pebbles. This site has reviewed the latter two but I am especially interested in a review of The Longest Day given that it is a black and white movie. I have the special edition SD of The Longest Day but I find the picture very soft. I'm hoping the Blu-ray version is a big improvement.

The Longest Day got 5 stars for video and 4 stars for audio at DVD Talk.

Thanks guys. I will definitely pick up The Longest Day. However not sure about A Bridge Too Far, the review was not very good for its PQ.

If you prefer your HD to look like (the original) film "Longest Day" does apparently not deliver.
