Dvdit Pro problem

Hi,

I've been trying to use dvdit pro to author blu ray discs and I've got a 1920x1080p wmv file. The problem i'm having is when I author it, it reduces the resoltuion to 1440x1080 which kinda defeats the purpose, any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Also how is that movie studios can get over two hours onto a blu ray disc at 1080p but when we author it only allows about 2 hours??
