Has anyone tried everything in the BD/DVD settings to get upscaling to work? - Blu-ray Forum

Its a known issue that 720p doesnt work with Blu-ray movies with PS3. If you have a 480/720p/1080i tv you can only view the movie in 480 or 1080i not 720p.

Im curious if anyone has ever tried all the different BD/DVD settings to get this to work.

Like Cinema conversion is eithe automatic or video? what does that mean?

And the HDMI Video out, Automatic, RGB, PB/CB options?

Will these do anything to set the movie to display in 720p?

The new patch came out but still nothing about that..

The patch for upscaling is not due until the European release, as far as I know.

Hey doby I've heard this too, but I was wondering if you could provide some evidence about the upscaling upgrade. Thanks in advance, no I'm not trying to bait you.
