Check your local blockbuster, I found Point Break at mine today for $34.99. Bought it, have not watched it yet.

+1. I usually have no desire to get a movie early unless its a huge 1 i missed in theatres and really wanna see but sometimes even then i buy a BD and may take a week or maybe a month sometimes for me to watch so getting early and getting price raped just dont cut it for me

I bought Independence Day on release day at $27.95 price tag and yet to watch (even thou my plan now is to watch it July 2nd or 3rd ) and paid this high price for the movie and since then theirs been tons of sales for way cheaper than what i paid

Cmon people, be nice. The op is just showing a little enthusiasm. So what if he overpaid in your eyes, to the op it made sense to buy it.

While I could care less about the title, there are probably a couple of titles I might over pay to have a few days before release. One way to avoid this is to not visit a B & M store on or near release days.

Thanks. They've been releasing catalog titles early in my area as well so I was going to look for it this weekend. Maybe I'll go by there today instead.

Thanks for the heads-up. I was able to get Point Break and Batman: The Movie. They had Vantage Point also but she wouldn't sell that one to me early. Both were $34.99 though.

Give me a break!!!! $35 for Point Break?

Come on, while I liked the movie and wouldn't mind getting it some day. I would not plan on spending more than $19.95 for that older movie.
