Arrow Point Break 2!

I apologize in advanced if I did not see this elsewhere.

Awhile back I remember browsing a "fantasy" like thread on here of the most desired Blu Ray movie releases and of course a mock Point Break BluRay case was created. It was actually pretty exciting to see that

However imagine the feeling of knowing that after now 18 years, they are finally going to make a sequel and have reached out to both Keanu Reeves & Patrick Swayze.

Seriously think about it - if they can pull off bringing back Johnny Utah along with Bodhi who was technically never captured at the end now nearly 20 years later, this will be even more unlikely than Rambo and Indiana Jones

Although we never see Bodhi actaull die in the end, I pretty much think its over for him. The last scene pretty much ended his story line IMO.. TO bring him back would make him some type of "superman" .......

I don't think Patrick Swayze is quite up to returning as Bodhi . . .

To tell you the truth, I have not watched it in nearly a decade and actually have been purposely avoiding it for the last couple years or so because I have been waiting for that perfect bluray moment. But I have seen worst come backs in soap operas for certain

I am seriously excited about this.......WHat did you think of the original??

Personally I though it was a great popcorn flick....I could and have watched it over and over.....Its not a "classic" in terms of movies, but its that early 90's cheesy action flick classic....

I know what you mean by comebacks though, I have seen some pretty bad ones myself. I dont know if it would go over well with Bodhi as a returning character. I can see Utah, just not Bodhi....

I wouldnt get too excited aout this movie though as I don't think it will ever come to fruition. IMO the 1st one wrapped things up nicely. Sometimes sequels aren't nessescary and I think this is one of those times.

If you read the link, it actually says it will follow what happen to Swayze and not invlove reeves. Personally I would rather it go the other way.

I don't think a sequel is warranted.

Bodhi is dead, no one could have survived that wave, that was the point for him.

Amennn!!!!!! Thats what I was thinking...If they did bring him back it would be some feat of pull it out of you arse writing situation......(the wave didnt hit him right or we didnt se what we thought we saw ......TO me his storyline is over Utah could go on, but I dont think it would be the same....

If they can make a crank 2 and Jason survive to be in a sequel, I think that Bodhi can survive a minor wave.

Default read the article!

There seems to be some debate on whether or not he dies on the wave...Did you guys even read the article? It's only a few paragraphs long and it spells out the answer for you.

All I can say is that without AT LEAST Keanu headlining it, I won't bother. It will turn out to be a 'Speed 2'... complete and total horse dung.

I just did...it didnt get into detail on how he survived the 30-40 ft wave. All it says is that he was "supposedly" killed by a giant wave....Mannnn I guess thats just like saying Greedo wasnt dead after Han shot him he just got a real bad burn wound......

IMO the first one ended "perfectly" and wrapped the story line up well. To bring back Bodhi and not even have it be PS would be a travesty.....I can see if it is all new characters, but to bring back Bhodi would be asking me to suspend a little too much disbelief....

Speed 2 was pretty bad. I think that hollywood has run out of ideas, that's why everything is a prequel or sequel or spin off.

I agree, or else it's a complete and blatant theft of another movie and just rehashed garbage. Not too many good stand alone movies lately.
