Will we see HD audio support for PS3 games? - Blu-ray Forum

I know theres enough room for it.. & some games already support 7.1 PCM. Would be nice to have DD plus, or true HD in our games.

...why? PCM = TrueHD for quality, and all audio codecs eat up computational time that I would much rather be running the game that saving me some space on a Blu-ray disc.

So all PS3 games support LPCM 5.1?

Not necessarily. Some are Dolby Digital 5.1. However, those that do support HD audio are a minimum of 5.1 LPCM.
