Default Remote Control\Speaker Mount question...

I'm working on a set up that has a Denon DVD player, a Denon Cd Player, a Denon Receiver, and a Charter HD box and they are all inside a tight cabinet that the client wants closed while watching movies but yet still wants to be able to control the movies using a remote control. I know they make repeaters and extenders for remotes but idk if they make one tight enough for what he has. He only has a few inches of clearence between the front of the players and the cabinet doors. Does anyone know of anything I could buy that would allow him to close the doors and still use his remotes?

Also does anyone know of a speaker mount that could attach to his tv to hold his center speaker? He has his tv wall mounted and it is pushed out a good distance, so he wants the speaker mounted on top of the tv instead of the wall.

Thanks for any help

if the cabinet is wood (assuming it is) then you could do like what IR ports on electronics do... put a little piece of plastic (like a window) that tapers down to a focus point for the IR signal to the IR receiver on the components

the cabinet is made of wood and has plenty of room to breath. will using the piece of plastic allow him to fully close the doors?
