Default Tiny little black dots on my screen ?

I have a Samsung HP-4254 TV with a Samsung BD-P1500 connected to it with a monster cable, now when I watch Blu-Ray dvds like Casino Royal and The Bank Job there are these tiny little dots that are moving, now you have to look fairly close to see them. I am just curious what is causing them... Is it the TV?

Sounds like film grain, assuming they're not truly "black". Both of those movies have a pretty fine grain.

I am not sure. It doesn't sound like grain to me. Can you take a pic of it and send that?

Could it be a dead pixel?

true. but grain is not black unless it is a really dark scene. It could be grain...
and someone said they were gone when the movie started...

pics would help a lot. Not sure what it could be besides grain though...

Have you tried a different video cable than the one your using? It could be a cable problem.

Grain would be constant in each scene, with fluxuations slightly between scenes. Their would some slight juxtaposition within a scene, but not on/off from one frame to the next.
