blu ray demo disc question - Blu-ray Forum

does anybody know where i can get blu ray demo disc that the manufactures put out like sony, pioneer, etc. i have a dts blu ray demo but that was really for sound and not picture quality. thanks

We recieved some from Pioneer Elite and from Fox because were pioneer elite dealers but they just sent with the demo player that we got. The fox demo disc sucked had way too many cuts way too quickly and basicly looked like it should be in the local best buy. The Pioneer Elite disc was nice but really only had movie trailers which aren't enough to really suck someone in. I really want a great live audio performance to demo or there are quite a few good movies with very demoable scenes which is what I would suggest. I don't know what you are going to be doing with it but that is my suggestion.

Just stay away from the Samsung Demo. It will make you not want to buy Bluray. Horrible quality on many cuts from the movies. Specifically, "50 First Dates," "Superman," and "xXx."

Hey, sorry for going off topic. just saw that you were from monterey. i grew up in that area just thought it was cool.
