why wouldn't they re-release the previous WMs on blu-ray?? I buy them for sure to remember the old times.

I hope that WWE would release the main four ppvs on their schedule on blu-ray(RR, WM, Summerslam, SS). I heard that the hell in a cell match was worth buying the ppv.

I doubt that would happen until they start dropping the price on the value of a Blu-Ray disc. WWE has high revenue on their DVD catalog, but obviously their main success right now is still DVD. Although I would imagine if anything, they would release the big 4 PPV events of the year on BD, but they didn't track back to release this year's Royal Rumble, so there's no telling.

It's definitely the future in HDTV. But as many releases as they put out a year, they're not financially ready to produce as many BD's as they do in DVD. I'm sure WM24 on BD did good, but not great. It's just not worth it yet to start releasing every PPV on BD.

Most of the show was a wash, but the Hell in Cell match was cool. It wasn't as good as some of the past ones, but decent. I also was surprised at how many goofs were in the show. Taker cutting his arm when put through the cell, CM Punk busting his head open when he and JBL accidentally knocked heads, and Jericho actually popping HBK's wife in the mouth (thought it was all fake until her lip was split open and very swollen).

Perhaps this could be an indication. WWE's first DVD release was WrestleMania 15 in 1999, then followed that up with SummerSlam 99. The next release after that was Royal Rumble 2000, and they also released the main 5 PPV's that year on DVD. Then in 2001 with WrestleMania 17, they started releasing every PPV on DVD. So perhaps that gives you an idea on how they could possibly treat their BD releases.
