Default Quick help..

Ok I got about 4 HDMI cables... a Samsung HDTV and a Harmon 5.1 Reciever that supports HD sound.

I cant figure out how to set it up... do I plug a hdmi into the ps3 then to the tv then reciever or what? Any help would be appreciated

I read the FAQS and I STILL cant get it to work.. when it comes to audio I am terrible with it..

HDMI out from PS3 into your receivers input. Hdmi out from receivers output to your tv.

It's all (ins) and (outs).

Connect an HDMI cable from PS3 to the receiver and another HDMI cable from the receiver to the TV. If you have speakers, connect the receiver to your speakers with speaker wires.

I don't think your receiver decodes hdmi audio. I think it's just passthru. So you will need to hook up a fiber optic cable out from your ps3 to your receiver. Then make sure you go into your ps3's settings and select optical as your audio out.

Ok do I did what you said and it semi worked. I can hear the background noise of the movie on my speakers but now when they talk.. or any loud noises up front happen its VERY soft almost silent.
