my vote's in for Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles.......and Planet Earth (obviously). anyone else snag a tv show set that looks amazing in HD?

do they generally look better on blu than an HD broadcast?

Mad Men and Weeds both look pretty good to me. As for Weeds, Season 3 is easily the best PQ, but they all look pretty good to me.

I havn't seen the HD broadcast for either of those before, so I can't comment on how it compares...

Edit: Wow, I feel dumb. I forgot about Lost Season 3. It is truly spectacular. To me, it still looks better than almost every movie I have. It's absolutely stunning, blows away the HD broadcast.

By the way, I hope your boy tools Penn in January. He doesn't deserve to be sniffing a title shot after going 0-2 in the WW division, IMO.

you know I like Penn as well but I hope GSP pulls it out and Penn stays at 155. I think if BJ loses he may lose steam and fall out of shape again. Either way the fight is a win for mma fans

I can't see him getting too motivated for a Tyson Griffin or Kenny Florian, which would be his downfall. although he's talented enough to beat them even if he's out of shape

Lost Season 3 is without a doubt the most impressive looking T.V. show on Blu-ray. Plus the uncompressed sound is great.

You've seen this on Blu already? I know Season 3 is set for November and I can not wait. Great show. I don't get CW HD, so the Blu will be the first time I have ever seen the show the right way. I hope it looks great. This season is off to the best start yet, so I am amped for the Blu debut.

No, I agree with you and that's the problem. It's a great fight but really stalls the LW (and to lesser extent WW) division. BJ's motivation is a problem as in the event that he wins, you just know he won't be up to defend both belts.

I would give anything to see Shamrock pull an ankle lock out of nowhere and stop the sham that is Kimbo. But we both know he's going to be flat on his face in the first 45 seconds. The real travesty is Arlovski being on the undercard to a Kimbo fight.

The two best looking shows on Blu-ray are Prison Break and Lost. Lost is probably a little more inconsistent but just has some outstanding imagery at times.
