Amazon just called me about the infamous "Buy 2 get 1 Free" deal - Blu-ray Forum

Did anyone else receive a call from Amazon regarding the infamous "Buy 2 get 1 Free" deal from a couple weeks back. I just got off the phone with an Amazon CSR and she basically told me that I shouldn't have gotten the free Band of Brothers Blu-Ray set because it wasn't on the list of eligible BRs, but since her co-worker gave my the $60 deduction she is going to let it slide. She also stressed that I "should read the fine print" next time. She was laughing how it was no big deal and the call was just to touch base, but she made sure to get her point across.

Amazon shouldn't have called you. It's a tremendous waste of your time. You get enough unwanted solicitation calls. Email is sufficient for any communications. I agree with BluPayne. I would have been unhappy being called.

Tell her there was no fine print when you ordered them, and it just said Buy 2, Get 1 free on Blu Ray.

I don't answer the phone unless the number is one that I know and even then I'll only pick it up if I really feel like talking to someone.

I'd of told her that the Amazon lawyers should have done a better job on the fine print, then it wouldn't be an issue. Then you should have asked her what she was wearing.

Well at least I'm not the only one that feels that way. I rarely pick up the phone unless it's family or a call back on an appointment or such.
