Default Toshiba Upscaling Adverts

So watching TV, and i see an advert from Toshiba about their upscaling tvs and dvd players. I'm now seeing this advert on pretty much every channel every hour or 2. Maybe Blu-ray will consider doing some advertising now???

Really starting to get on my nerves now how they dont do any advertising in the slightest

Hopefully this is different in the US but yeh ridiculous

Yes! I have been seeing a few Blu-ray commercials lately... not a movie that says "Available on DVD and Blu-ray"... but actual Blu-ray commercials!

EDIT: Here's one of them...

MORE Damn It! MORE!

I have been seeing LOTS of Blu-ray commercials as of late. In fact I saw 2 of them last night specifically for Blu-ray.. from WALMART! Walmart is advertising cheap blu-ray players for the holidays!
I just hope and pray the economy isn't so bad that people cut out this type of purchase!

Yeah, the tech is garbage, but the ad itself sure looks cool.

There is a ton of commercials (pretty decent ones too) talking about Blu Ray on the major channels these days, in the US (I think it's the $25M Tru Blu campaign).

Let's hope they will follow through in Europe too

It seems like they do one commercial from Wal-Mart, then show a different commerical and then another Wal-Mart BD commercial.

I have also seen BD only commercials for movies such as Hellboy II. No mention of the DVD, BD only.

There are plenty of ads for releases which show the Blu-ray in front of the DVD and say "coming soon on DVD and Blu-ray hidef".

And we are starting to see pure BD advertising on TV, even in Canada. In Toronto, there have been billboards for BD releases. And the big downtown HMV has been pushing Warner BD titles on their big outdoor ad, for many months.

Batman Begins gave way to The Matrix. And I'm sure it will become TDK soon.

I'm seeing the Blu-ray ad alot. The one commercial that shows several of the big upcoming releases of the past years movies (Dark Knight, Hancock, Wanted, Hellboy 2, etc) is showing up more and more as I watch TV.
