Default Movie Organization Question

So I am anal about how my movies are organized (I am pretty anal about how anything is organized). So I was looking at my collection last night and I started to think to myself, "where am i going to put the dark knight?"

The obvious answer would be with the other "d's", since I organize alphabetically, but then again it is part of a series, so should it go next to batman begins?

I am going to have the same problem when I get all of the james bonds.

Any suggestions?

I would just go alphabetically. If you know the name of the title your looking for, that's the easiest way to locate it, as opposed to sifting through a series.

Put TDK by BB, and all th Bonds by each other. You look more organized that way. And if you want to watch a bond movie there all right there, so you don't have to look through you whole collection.

You can find some differing opinions here:

For me it's in Alphabetical order. But I keep my MOVIES separate from my CONCERT blu's

I do alpha order no matter what even if it is a part of a "set" it still is its own movie, so therefor it should be treated as its own movie IMO.

I'm going to put it next to Batman Begins. Looks like we have a divided crowd here.

I'm so OCD I put all the "The" titles in the T section

So in my collection, BB and TDK will be on opposite sides

Alphabetical.

However movies in a series go next to each other. In proper series order.

In the case of Batman. Batman Begins, Batman: Gotham Knight, The Dark Knight.

I agree that series should go together but in the case of Batman: BB,TDK,BGK.
TDK and BB are part of the same series but Gotham Kight is a separate deal. It's not directly linked to Nolan's series.

I usually go alphabetically unless it's part of a box set (like First Blood in the Rambo Series).
