Canada (Quebec) gets the... - Blu-ray Forum

So I just got the Wall-e 3 disc bluray edition from amazon.com and it turns out I cannot access the BD-live features. The disc asks me to go to disneybdlive.com to create an account, but it seems that Canadian users can't do this as there is no provision for Canadian addresses.

I called Dinsey customer support about this and they are aware of the problem, however they couldn't tell me if and when this feature will be available.
Furthermore, the very nice lady on the phone (and I am not sarcastic, she was very polite

)told me that their servers accept only US IPs so, I guess it wouldn't have worked anyway.
I know, I should have checked this before

, but come-on it's a global market, we are both in the same region (geographical and bd), so Disney, give us some love!!

Yea, that's strange of Disney not to take that into consideration before release.

BD Live on Disney Title are not available here for now. Even our disc don't have it on them. Sleepless Beauty have everything but BD-Live from the US (it's not on the disc at all)

Still a warning on the disc or in amazon like "some features are available only to U.S. customers" would be far more helpful.
But I think it also comes to this, in the end; we pay the same amount of money (for some movies we pay even more than U.S. customers). Shouldn't we get the same treatment?
