Who are your favorite new actors or actresses? I am talking people who are new in the business or have been in it recently.I'm talking people who don't have that much projects up to now. I'd have to say Ashley Tisdale! She plays in The Suite Life Of Zack & Cody.

Elizabeth McLaughlin and Ellen Marlow (main two girls) from The Clique.

And... well everyone from Arrested Development. Even though I already liked Alia Shawkat from State of Grace.

I like Hayden Panettiere, she's been around for a while but her career is taking off. And she's getting hotter! But she's a pretty good actress too. Also, the girl thats in the new movie "The Unborn" looks pretty good. And of course, Shia Labeouf is awesome

Also, Justin Timberlake looks to be promising. From what I've seen so far, he was pretty good

Off the top of my head, Sophia Bush & Kate Mara. Oh ya and Shia is cool, though I know a lot hate him. They're not exactly new new. But whatever.

Andrew Garfield. He really caught my attention in The Social Network. I checked out his work in Boy A (one of the most underlooked films of the last ten years) and this kid can act. Hopefully Spider-Man gets him the attention he deserves.

Carey Mulligan. She was so awesome in An Education. For some reason she hasn't really broke out yet. But she is doing some great work in lesser know, yet acclaimed films like Shame and Drive.

Chloe Grace-Moretz. From the moment she showed in (500) Days of Summer as the brash sister of Joseph Gordon-Levitt I knew this girl had a future. Of course she broke out with her performance in Kick-Ass. I hope she doesn't get caught up in doing big budget, mind-less studio films and continues to pick good projects because she is very talented and fearless for her young age and seems to be well-liked by the movie-going public that seems to be rooting for her.

Jennifer Lawrence. She can act, flat out. Just check out Winter's Bone. I'm not really digging her gradual transition to bigger projects (X-Men franchise, Hunger Games franchise) but I'm happy for her. But she can act and I hope she continues to pick smaller films like Silver Linings Playbook to prove it. I know people will roll their eyes at her because she's in two big franchises and turn the other cheek and assume she's another Kristen Stewart but this girl can actually act which is rare among blockbuster stars these days.

Mia Wasikowska - Got on everybody's radar because of Tim Burton's listless Alice in Wonderland film but she was impressive in The Kid's Are All Right and Jane Eyre. She has my attention now.

Hailee Steinfeld - Her mature performance in True Grit proved that she is for real. I expect some big things out of her as she gets older and more roles come her way.
