Wal-Mart is a bunch of cheap evil buzzards. Unfortuantely I can't get my wife to quit grocery shopping there.

some WM grocery departments suck. Theres 2 WMs near me. One has a really good produce dept. etc.... And the other next to where i work at sucks. flies, fruit flies, rotten crap, etc.... but people shop there. And those same people that come to my store and see a wrinkle on a bell pepper and start b*******

This situation really was awful. I could be wrong but I think I read that there isn't going to be any legal charges handed out?

i said it before and i'll sa again. Those people that just continued to walk past him shopping, chatting, act like nothing happened, pissed that they can't go in, etc... i consider them a-holes and just the same as the one who did this to him.

well there could be if the could determine who stepped on the man but thats impossible

Even if they could figure out who stepped on them..... it would be pretty impossible to prove criminal intent, or even criminal negligence, against any of the shoppers. There'd be no way to prove that they weren't just pushed ahead by the throngs of shoppers behind them.

I think the lawsuit brought by this family is very appropriate though. It is evident that there was not enough security... and from that video... it's evident they knew security was going to be a big issue. Wal-Mart, as usual, was just trying to save a buck. I for one hope they are forced to pay out the nose and the rectum for this one.

The family is doing the right thing by sueing WM. According to that video he was told that there would be security up front but he was the only one.
