I currently have my DVD player hooked up to my receiver via an optical cable, and hooked up to my TV through regular analog cables. Would I be able to do this with a Blu-Ray player? Sometimes we just use the TV for sound, if our infant is almost asleep...or if our 3 year old is watching a DVD from the library.

If your display does not have an HDMI input you can use the two analog outs on the back of the player, so in this case it will work fine. |
