Default Playing Blu-Rays on computer to HD TV

I have an Acer with Blu-Ray drive and HDMI & DVI out. I can view the TV(HDMI) and monitior(DVI) at the same time no problem. But, when I try to watch a Blu-Ray (with TotalMedia Theatre) I get no audio on the TV. I also have to unplug the monitor DVI cable before launching the disk or it wont work on the TV. My plan to avoid buying a separate Blu-Ray player for the TV is becoming very complicated. Any ideas?

#1 only use one display at a time. HDCP gets upset if you try to use two or more displays when playing a Blu-ray.

#2 see if there are any settings currently, or that happen to appear when a TV is connected via HDMI(my VAIOs show only the laptop display until a HDMI is connected to a HDTV - then there are more buttons to push/click).

Make sure HMDI Audio is enabled when a TV is connected.
Things change when a HDTV is connected and a Blu-ray is running...

Control Panel > Sound > "Set Default" to Digital Output Device (HDMI)

This will allow sound to pass through television. You will need to go back and set it back to the computer speakers when you are not connected to television.
