I've been enjoying all the insight and photos on this site for the past 6 months or so and decided to join back in October. I finally got around to posting a few pics of my setups today and hoped ya'll would take a peek and drop me a rating/comment. It's not as nice as many I've seen on here, but I'm working to upgrade to some better components and you guys and gals have helped alot in making those decisions. Just wanted to say thanks and I'm looking forward to chatting and learning more from all of you in the coming new year.

What are the two small speakers on the top of the TV for? I'm just curious since you have a two nice speakers already on the front.

Those are the satellites that came with the CV subwoofer package. Probably not necessary, I just added them for a little more sound I guess.

EDIT: removed them after deciding it was senseless and an eyesore with the darn wires. lol

Yeah, I got it several years ago. Now I am about full on movies and would like a match to go on the left side of my setup. Do you know anywhere that still sells them?

i have 2 of them... bought one a few years ago and one last year @ Best Buy on clearance... i lucked out... only paid $9 for it...

I've never seen a room that loaded with HT stuff. Since I still live with my old-fashioned parents, I can't have my room loaded with stuff.

loving them! got them here locally at gallery furniture...quality is top notch as we've had them for 2 1/2 years with no issues to speak of. hope you end up with something similar soon.

I hope so also, but Best Buy wants $999 for one! I don't know if there worth that much, but I will look else where. But if all goes as plain, I will be working at Best Buy. So the Discount may be worth wile.

sounds kinda high for one, but I guess it all depends on the quality...think we gave 1900 for all 3 of ours. Figured if I bought only 1 I'd wish I'd bought more later and regret it so we bit the bullet for the trio. Anyway, good luck deciding!

Swingle - I've noted our posters were obtained from the same place (shhh - it's a secret!) Did you get the Dark Knight one from there as well? I haven't seen that one there yet...

sure did....they have another as well that runs vertically and has the joker on it.....i'll pick it up later hopefully.....been trying to find the iron man and top gun ones that i've seen in other galleries and have had zero success. Just gotta keep hunting I guess. Good luck finding yours, and thanks for the rating!
