Default My Updated Setup Pics....Finally!

I Finally got around to posting some pics of my updated theater setup. Your feedback is welcomed and greatly appreciated. This is only a temporary setup until I complete my dedicated theater room in my basement but I'm always looking for suggestions on how to tweak my current configuration.

Looks great, nice and clean. The only thing I would recommend, although it's not too big of a deal since your setup is temporary, is move your TV and speakers to the left a little, that way your front right isn't semi covered by that chair. I know that would be a pain, so might not be worth it.

Other than that, great setup, very clean!

Yeah I've thought about doing something about that chair but it not a huge deal because the drivers on the C-300 actually sit up above the arm of the chair the way it sits.

Blubrown,

Good job on your theater. I like the posters and the collectibles. Makes it a lot fun doesn't it!

Nice Gear,Nice System,and Nice Set-Up.
Love how you have the Front Height Speakers in the Ceiling. They do help expand the Front Soundstage quite a bit.Great choice in using them.

And also the Surrounds being in-ceiling are a Good Choice with the rooms layout.

You have Tremendous Potential with the Room and Gear you have to work with.
Congratulations on a Tremendous Start.

Thanks Talstarone! I absolutely love the front height speakers. They're not noticably active all that often but in certain films when they really do come alive its pretty mindblowing. I only imagine they'll get better as films hopefully start to utilize them more in their audio mixes.

Nice HT room you have. I understand the want for a dedicated HT, and I am sure you will have one from the sound of it. However, for what you have as a "temp" set-up, you have done a great job. And I agree, just for aesthetics, perhaps you could move the couch away from being so close to the front right......but you have a awesome set-up nonetheless.

Thanks! I love the C-300's...I actually picked them up locally for $95 a piece. So even if I upgrade in a year or two I'm not really out anything. I also have a pair of the C-R100 bipoles that I picked up from blu-ray.com user Lij that will be utilized in my dedicated theater room when its finished.

Wow, that is an incredible price on those! They might make a good side surround, if/when you upgrade that is. ( I choose the latter ).

Thanks...he is AWESOME! The people where we got him referred to it as a "Bugg." Not really a recognized breed though....he is half Boston Terrier (brindle) and half Pug.
