Default Soundstage (Sears exclusives)

Has anyone else seen these? I picked all 6 of them. They are outstanding. They all have 5.1 uncompressed LPCM besides Tom Petty which has 5.1 DTS-HD MA. The PQ is excellent as well. They all are 1080i VC-1 besides Petty which is 1080i AVC. Even at 1080i these are demo material.

$23.74 each
Best Of Soundstage - Blu-Ray
Tom Petty - Soundstage
Stevie Nicks - Soundstage
Foreigner - Soundstage
Michael McDonald - Soundstage
Seal - Soundstage

Will have to check if Sears Canada has these as an exclusive as well! The Tom Petty disc is one I'd be really interested in getting!

I'm not sure but you may be out of luck because someone from Canada on another site wants me to get them for him...

Yeah I wouldn't mind that one either - saw them at the Amphitheatre in 2007 and they were awesome.

Looks like my local Sears has all of them in stock, I'd have to check it out.

Any impressions of the Seal concert from anyone? His live shows are usually pretty good and the track listing looks great.

I'm not a fan of Seal but I would say if you are to get this disc. The Seal disc also has some bonus footage from different performances.

I saw these when I stopped in earlier to look for any clearanced games.

Kind of bummed that they are Sears exclusives, because I don't want to pay $24.99 for them.

I definitely want the Best Of one (lot of good songs, and a lot of artists I really like, like Steve Winwood), and maybe the Tom Petty, and Michael McDonald ones as well.

I'll just hope somebody picks them up and doesn't like them, and tries to ditch them in the Trading Forum I guess.

If you haven't gotten it yet, and are still interested, I recommend checking out eBay. Someone is selling the Seal BD (new/sealed) for $13.99 with free shipping, and has several available.

I just saw this thread today and ran to pick up the Seal one. I'm a HUGE fan of his. So far the sound and picture quality is awesome. Really happy with this.

Thanks for posting!

No problem. I hope that seller can get a hold of some of the other in the series, especially for that price.

I have the cure: Get the The Police: Certifiable on Blu.

All of these guys are eligible for the Senior Discount at Kentucky Fried Chicken, and they lay down a wall of sound that will blow you away. Brilliant work.

Hello, I'm new on this forum. I hope I'm doing this right. I would like to know if anyone knows about Seal Soundstage they sell at Sears.com? I live in Canada and I even called Sears in the U.S. to find out if Seal Soundstage is really in Blu Ray and the person told me NO it's the standard dvd. I want the Blu ray only. Please help.

thanks

Here is the Seal Blu-ray being sold on Amazon by third party sellers:

http://www.amazon.com/Soundstage-Seal-Blu-ray/dp/B001P8C0S6

Sears does carry this disc. The person you spoke to was misinformed. In fact they are supposed to be the sole retailer for this disc but new copies have turned up on Ebay for sale. Here are another couple of links for you, including the direct Sears link:

Try HMV..I've seen the Sheryl Crow and Tom Petty BD's there. I did a search on Seal at their website (and amazon.ca was well), but nothing showed up. The HMV site sucks though....so go and have a look in their stores. Maybe you can order it.
