my choices are: Currently: Tekken 5, Street Fighter II HD
looking forward to: Fight Night 4 and UFC Undisputed(it's one of the main reason i want to have ps3)

So far I haven't played any 'great' PS3 fighting games, but if I have to pick the 'best' it would have to be SC4.

I think all 'freedom of movement' systems should now be based off of the system Ultimate Ninja Storm gave us.

I liked the new Soul Caliber game, but my heart and soul for fighting games is always with Tekken, so I picked 6...even though its not out LOL.

I do like fighting games. which of the above listed in this thread will be a good start?

Im going with Super Street Fighter HD Remix since i thought SC was a big let down compared to the last one i played, SCII...

SCIV is a close second.
Tekken 6 made me sooo mad in the arcade! Knockup, air juggle, slammed down, bounced, ground combo, smashed into wall, power hit. 1 tiny little DF2 took me into a combo that I could not escape and left me at ~40% health. They need to add wall escapes and/or tech-rolls out of bouncing or this game will NOT surpass DR...
I mean...4 was terrible but at LEAST you could escape the wall!

Id say check out the poll and go from the results.. im sure teh top 3 would be one of your best bets, and im assuming they will be street fighter, Soul Calibur, and Tekken...

Get SF IV should be the best ps3 fighting game when it release. You could get SF II HD only like 15 dollars it has online play good for you to warm up, also don't forgot about getting the stick.
