So it's a sequel & a game? Interesting. I'm surprised and happy Bill Murray will be involved.

"The long-fabled third entry in the Ghostbusters franchise will be arriving in the form of a video game for PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii.
Writing duties for the title are being handled by Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, and Bill Murray. All three starred in the first two films, which were written by Ramis and Aykroyd. The trio will also lend their voices to the game, which is currently being developed by an unknown studio."

It is my understanding that the movie is going to be CGI, not like the first two. Has anyone else heard this?

I am excited that these three are writing it together, but I have some doubts about a sequel that is not live action....

I agree with the whole CGI thing. Only reason for it and not live-action is because Murray doesn't want to do it because he is his age.

They could attribute that to some accident with the Ecto-containment unit blowing up or something. Or some ghost taking them into the future for some reason..... corny? yes. Better than CGI? IMO yes.

All I know for sure is that I love Ghostbusters and I hope like hell that I am wrong and this movie is awesome!

This is awesome news. I've wanted some more Ghostbusters, but as said before, I don't think I could buy Harold Ramis in his full Ghostbusters attire anymore. This has the potential to be one of the best games ever, imo, if you're a fan of Ghostbusters. I just hope they don't water down the story to fit a series of missions.

The fact that it will come up for the Wii, makes me think that it won't be that good. What would be really cool is if they made it like heavenly sword, with the old guys still doing the face acting mostly, but plaster on there young faces

Great news for the video game world.. however bad news for the movie world. It means there will likely never be another Ghost Busters movie
