Default problems with blockbuster blu rays

I have a BD-HP20U sharp blu ray
Has anyone heard or has had problems with playing blockbuster blu ray on this player?

Bc i bought dark knight from bb and it would skip and eventually restart the player then I sent it in to sharp then they sent it back and I bought wall e from bb same problem so i called sharp and they told me nothing was actually wrong with the player, has anyone heard about anything like this ?

I'm fairly certain what you're facing is not a Blockbuster problem, since Blockbuster doesn't actually make Blu-ray films.

I'm not sure what's going on by not being there, but here's a few suggestions:

Make sure there are no smudges or fingerprints on the data side of your Blu-ray discs. Given the density of information on a Blu-ray disc, read errors could generate the skipping as you've described.

Make sure your Blu-ray player is on a level, stable surface. That will ensure that the disc is spinning freely and not rubbing.

Does the error typically occur when the volume is raised to a high level? If that's the case, vibrations from your speakers or subwoofer may be causing your player to skip. Try turning the volume down, and see if the problem repeats.

I have the Hp21u i haven't watched a ton of blurays yet but i have Netflix and haven't had issues with it yet, unlike my Philips. prolly just have to update the firmware
