I don't know if this is the correct forum to put this, so forgive me if I'm wrong.
I'm having a hell of a time locating CRT's for my Mitsubishi WS-65313. There's burn in from when the 4:3 is used and I really want to replace the tubes without having to call in the techs and pay $400 for them to do it. Anybody have a idea where I can find the CRT's? I've exhausted Google looking for them with no luck so far. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Well two places to try.
Ebay sometimes will have them. Far and few between but possible. Second try craigs list in your area. It is possible that someone else has the same tv with a different problem and you can buy the whole tv as parts and go from there. One more crazy idea to try. This may sound wierd but if you dont hook up cable to your tv does it do snow?? I mean does it go to a blue screen or will it have that snow. I believe it goes to the blue screen but anyways. I have heard of people making it look a little better by just running that snow all night long. Again crazy cure but it may help. Possibly. |

Thanks!
I'll try the Craigslist one first. Tried Ebay with no luck. And yes, my screen goes blue with no input. I've tried something similar by having the 4:3 as a black screen with the grey bars on the side and leaving that on all night long. It helped a bit, but still a noticable burn in. Especially on films like The Thing. My eyes are automatically drawn to the burn in. It's maddening LOL It'll be a long time before I can afford a new television, so the cheapest option for me is to replace these tubes. Thanks for your help. I appreciate it. |
