1080p or 1080i?

60 frames per second or what?.

anyone have concrete answers they can copy & paste into this thread regarding these questions.

though 7.1 is something to cheer about

if the video is indeed true that sucks

wheres 1080p & 60 frames per second!!??

Calm down, the game still looks absolutely amazing. Every review ive seen say its easily the best graphics they've ever seen (better than anything on the PC even)

Resolution and frames arent everything. You'll see a level of detail and physics quality that you've never seen before.

Hasnt there been lots of discussion on this? Im pretty sure they're either even, or KZ2 has the edge.

Well yeah, on second thought i guess that is pretty much correct. running at the same resolution as Crysis it probably would look better, because they are just about even now.

30fps - big mistake by Guerilla..! UNcheck!

Reason COD4 has the best gameplay online is 60fps.. I haven't played a 30fps game that compares.

30 fps, though not as nice as 60 fps, is great as long as it runs smooth and consistent.

Your eyes adjust. Movies are recorded in 24fps. Most NSTC/ATSC video content are recorded in 30fps but do you see people complain?

I'm sorry, but what preview videos or in-game screen shots have you seen that have led to the determination the video sucks?

Killzone 2 looks absolutely amazing, and it will have the most advanced lighting and shading effects ever seen in a console game. Ever.

I wouldn't say that "sucks," but to each his own, right?

Ill take KZ2 over COD4 anyday. Heck Id take just about anything over cod4. What an insanely over-rated game.

What does that mean? Your brain just melts watching video game not in 60fps?

Like I said, your brain adjust. 1080p60 would be ideal but it's not in the cards. Just like how I'd like every new album to be released in multichannel SACD, but that's just not going to happen. You still get to enjoy it.

Yeah, I do actually. I'm one of them, movies are so much better at higher framerates (some iMax presentations are).. It's a shame they've stuck with such a stone age format of 24fps per movies but it makes sense economically.

Well I can dream of one day movies having butter smooth pans instead of juddery panning shots..

I still love my blu-rays, but the formats standards should have evolved a long time ago for better immersion.

you're always going to be able to make a game better with higher frame rates and greater resolutions. but when the game has already been credited with raising the technical bar in all console games, they must have done something right.

someday all games will be 1080p and 60+ fps, but by then we could have 1600+p TV's and complain when the new games don't max out the technology.
