Battle in Seattle?? - Blu-ray Forum

I just rented this "Blockbuster Exclusive" today on blu-ray. Has anybody else seen or even heard of this movie? I had not seen ANY mention of a blu-ray release for this movie today?? Did I miss something? I know it wasn't at Blockbuster last week so obviously it was released today. Pretty good movie, especially since I had no idea what to expect going in. Anybody else pick it up on Blu?

I'll be picking it up on Blu-ray. Battle in Seattle is a great little film.

i just rented this from blockbuster as well. the weird thing is, according to amazon this movie is not released until march 10th. they also have passion of christ at bb as well and that doesnt release until next week or later.

I like the movie a lot, it was like an interesting documentary of the protests that ended up in tragedy for some of the fictional characters involved. Charlize Theron was wonderful, and the movie is directed by her bf Stuart Townsend. But, wouldnt buy it on blu ray!

Can't speak to Passion but it's entirely possible for a title to be a Blockbuster exclusive for a while before it hits other outlets. Paranoid Park, for example, was a Blockbuster exclusive for a *while* before it hit other outlets.

i just finished watching this last night and thought the movie was pretty darn good. very powerful message and intense movie. not sure if it was the director's intent or not, but the pq was very grainy.

I also rented this from Blockbuster. The movie itself was great. The PQ and AQ were rather sub-par. If you buy blu-rays solely depending on the movie content, I would recommend it. If you expect outstanding video and sound from all of your purchases, you're better off renting it.
