Default Best Multisystem (PAL/NTSC) HDTV?

I'm moving in the near distant future, and when I do, I want to get an 1080p HDTV that will decode NTSC and PAL video signals as I live in the USA. I know Pioneer make some excellent models, and I found one that I like, but it's very expensive ($6,000+).

Can anyone suggest comparable quality models (hopefully at a somewhat lower price)?

Hmm, why do you need your TV to decode NTSC or PAL?
My DVD player accepts both formats and does the convertion needed so I can watch my European movies on my US TV.
