Tecmo to announce something new for PS3? - Blu-ray Forum

From "something new" to game, and from "for PS3" to exclusive, there is a large step, that the rumor from Neogaf seem to have boldly taken.

I won't go that far, but if indeed the press conference in a Playstation Store of San Francisco is true, it could mean good news for PS3 owners.

Or just some new infos about Quantum Theory in the US (which would also be good).

They plan to debut the title on March 24; we know this due to e-mails Tecmo sent to certain press members, asking them to attend an event at a PlayStation Store in San Francisco at 3 p.m. After the announcement, there should be a 30-minute Q&A session with the producer and director of this mystery game. Now, because this will all take place in a PlayStation Store, everyone is just assuming the title in question is a PS3 exclusive, and we're all starting to wonder...what the heck is it? They couldn't possibly be referring to Ninja Gaiden III; it's a franchise that has gone multiplatform already (from Microsoft to Sony, actually). We're expecting an interesting IP of some kind, although we're not about to make any further predictions. You can bet we'll be paying close attention on the 24th of this month, though...

Yeah, we'll tell you as soon as we hear what it is. Tecmo is a talented developer who is capable of doing some amazing stuff, so this could turn out to be very good news for PS3 owners.

it did return to the DS and got mediocre reviews at best ... some things are just best left in the past with the glorious memories ....

I got a Home Beta invite before it went full public. I wonder if I'll get this, considering how much I've spent in the PSN Store, majority of which is Rock Band content.

yes, rygar would be awesome. i had it on the NES. that game was epic.

Not necessarily, if it's the first of its kind it would be the best ever by default, which could still mean it's crap

rygar was redone on PS2 and it actually wasnt TOO shabby .. not a great remake but it was worth playing ..
