Fletch! - Blu-ray Forum

Holy cow, I would love to see this series remastered and formatted for Blu. I found an article here that said it was going to be released on HD-DVD on March 11th of 2008. I'm not sure how well that HD DVD format did, but I'm guessing not very well.

That would be a first-day buy for me, no doubt.

It must be 15 years at least since I last saw this flick. I've always been a fan of Chevy Chase and his dry, quirky humour, so this is a welcome release for me.

Your talking about the VHS style edition. You posted in the other thread, have you confirmed it's a BD-50 and not a BD-25 which all BD editions of Fletch are on. If this claim is true it would mean the bit-rate is higher and the video will be way better.

Does anyone own this and can confirm?

junior8769 said that the VHS style Fletch was on a BD-50. I have this pressing in hand and can confirm it's on a BD-25. So his post was incorrect.
