Default Sub Woofer Cable? Onkyo606/RM6750

Hello Guys,

Hope i can get quick help here. I purchased the Onkyo 606 and the RM6750. I purchase my 16awg cable wire and set this up. Now Im missing something the Sub Woofer cable to hook up the woofer to reciever. Is this suppose to come with the these systems, or do i need to purchase this cable seperate like the 16awg wires?

you just need a fairly isolated RCA cable. thats basically it. connect it via subwoofer out on the receiver, then on the LFE signal or the LEFT channel on the subwoofer.

A subwoofer cable is the same as a digital coaxial RG6 cable. It is the same cable as RG6 video cable with RCA connectors at both ends. RG6 has good shileding and works better than an ordinary RCA cable.

You have two options. Order one from Monoprice.com and wait a few days. Make sure you order a 12 ft or longer. Subwoofer placement in a room is the most important factor in subwoofer performance. You need a long cable to experiment and find the best location in your room.

The other option is to buy a regular RG6 video cable and use F to RCA adapters at both ends.
