Sub Woofer Help!!!

Ok I have read alot of info on hereabout subs and I have it narrowwed down to three companies for a possible new sub for my system. I have a mid size room and I have an Onkyo 805 and JBL Speakers Northridge E-80 fronts with an EC-35 Center all three way speakers and JBL HTC in wall and ceiling for surrounds. I currently have a JBL Northridge powered sub which puts out a tremble but from all that I have read even bass can be loud and clear and mine sounds very muted. Here are my three choices:

1) SVS PB10-NSD

2) HSU Research VTF-1

3) Elimental Designs A2-300 or A3-300

They all have great reviews and seem more than powerful enough for my mid size room and I am a huge movie buff, not much on music listening so I want a sub that delivers a good punch to the chest. The best experience I have had with a sub was at a Magnolia store and the guy put on that bad Kevin Costner Western Open Range, but the scene were he shoots the guy in the head that killed his freind was played on Definitive Technology top of the line sub and it felt like I had gotten shot in the chest...simply awesome. Now I may not get that full effect from these subs but maybe I will. I really like the price of the A2-300 but would be willing to spend a hair more if it makes that big of a difference.
