It was one of my favorite movies from last year.

It's an emotional drama/suspense movie.

It's good to see that nobody has spilled the plot yet. Don't check out the reviews until after you have seen it.

It's not an action movie. There's nothing supernatural about it.

It becomes clear after 20 or 30 minutes why Smith's character is doing what he is doing. I think we are supposed to figure it out so that we can see the reasons for his actions throughout the movie.

I'll definitely grab it when the price drops a bit, but it's fresh in my mind and I am in no hurry.

Boy was I surprised. I thought it was great. I had absolutely no idea what it was about, which made it so much better for me. This is one of those movies you tell yourself at the end "Am I glad I saw this!"

I highly recommend this one. Although I only buy movies I absolutely will re-watch a hundred times, I say buy it if you are on the fence and like drama/suspense type movies.

I just wanted to say that I just finished this movie and do not agree with the reviewer at all with his review of it. The review gave the movie a 2.5. The movie in my opinion was a sold 4. Once in awhile I know we see movies that are just not to our liking or maybe favorite genre or mood at the time of viewing. And this may be the case, I don't know. My favorite movie is Kill Bill and this movie just kinda hit me like the first time I saw "Into the Wild". And I know Kill Bill is a long way from Seven Pounds. Just wanted to put that out there. If you are looking for a strong drama with some romantic elements in it, at least give this a rental.

I'll go ahead and buck the trend and say I thought this movie was horrible. I understand the idea the director was trying to pull off, but he failed. Up until the last 20 minutes of the film, the story was completely fractured and there was no plot what-so-ever. The method the director tried to pull only can be successful if you have some story to keep the viewers interested until you reveal the final connection.

The whole movie, I kept looking at the clock and thinking, "What the hell is the point?" It didn't take me long to figure out what was going on, but with no help from the story. Way too slow and fractured to be of any entertainment value.

Thank you! After all the praise this was getting, I was starting to think I was living in an alternate universe.

Didn't care for it to much. After about 15 - 20 minutes I knew what the movies was about and what he was going to do. I ended up spending the rest of the movie wondering when the hell he was finally going to do it.

I watched Seven Pounds last night (my last Netflix rental). I thought the movie was awesome and I will buy it when it goes on sale.

I especially enjoyed the chemistry between Will and Rosario. I’ll stop now because I do not want to spoil the plot for anyone who plans to watch it. All I can say is “WOW” just “WOW!!! By the way, Sony did a terrific job on the Blu-ray as usual.

Just finished watching it and I thought it was very moving. I agree with some of the others here where they say they should have focused on some of the other people. All in all I enjoyed it and I will look forward to adding this movie to my collection.

Me too. This movie just seemed to drag onnnnnnnn and onnnnnnnnn. It was one of the very few movies where I repeatedly looked at the clock during the movie to see when it would end.
