Blu-Ray.com page on "the day the earth stood still"

Has anyone else noticed that when you go to the page dedicated to "the day the earth stood still" then go to the Summary page, the cast listed does not include Keanu Reaves.... not that this is necessarily a bad thing, after all, Keanu does a wonderful job every time he plays Keanu Reaves (for those not into subtlety, IMHO Keanu is rather, shall we say, "one dimensional" )

Anyway, I start looking at the cast, and see Patricia Neal listed... Sure enough, who ever loaded the information into the site loaded the information from the original movie, released in 1951. While the acting in the original was arguably better in a campy sort of way, this isn't the version that has made it to blu,

Actually there is a Blu release of that movie which includes the original 1951 movie as a bonus.

yeah i noticed that the other day. couldnt tell which version i was looking at till i saw the cover art and it does have keanu's name on it. if should have the cast listed for the re-make instead since the orginal is just a bonus and not the version that page is technically for.

Actually guys, the original 1951 version was released as a single Blu-ray disc about 5 or 6 months ago.

yes but to see what the op is saying, do a search for the title and click on the re-make, then check the cast list

I went to Best Buy today to buy the original "The Day the Earth Stood Still" for $25.99 and the original "The Planet of the Apes" for $44.99.

While taking a look around, I saw that the new version of "TDTESS" included the original movie as well for $32.99 .

After checking the Future Shop site on Best Buy's computer, I saw that Future Shop had the New/Old version of "TDTESS" for $29.99 and The Planet of the Apes for $19.99.

Best Buy matched both prices plus 10% off of the difference.

I walked out with three movies for $45 or so. Not bad, eh?

Thanks... I searched for who to contact to fix it, but was un-successful... I didn't necessarily like pointing out a problem in an open thread, but there was no other way I could find to get it to the attention of the mods (and before anyone flames me, yes I was lazy and didn't go searching for a mod, I figured that one would find me )

By the way, thanks for the fix!
