Sure it could of been "cleaner" , but it would take the 'look' out of it. Hell, I don't know... Watching the movie on my panasonic & then watching it on my pioneer(s) is like day and night eventhough you still get the feel of the film. I've noticed this with many films I've watched on a lesser HDTV, then a Pioneer. I've watched both parts atleast 12 times each.

she had a corpse
under her bed
he had her fun
but now he's dead
hear momma said
come feed desire
her brother said
hey, throw her on the fire

this is the house
come on in
this is the house
built on sin
this is the house
nobody lives
this is the house
you get what you give

i cut the flesh
and make it bleed
fresh skin
is what i need
i let it dry
out in the wood
all your crying
did no good, yeah

now you're lying
on the floor
yeah, you can't
take anymore
the devil's laughing
in your face
give me another taste, yeah

What? This Blu-ray looks great! You have to take into consideration the style of the movie. It's a gritty and "dirty" movie.

I watched HO1C when I was younger, and I liked it. Devil's Rejects has to be on my list of worst movies ever.

I watched house of 1000 corpses....at one point i was interested in the story..But little things like the hot chick banging a corpse/skeleton...and other little creative ideas they had for the movie threw me off a little. When they made that guy look half human half fish i thought that was pretty funny.
Those cops at the end didnt even see it coming! Overall i probably would never own or rewatch this again..It took me 2 settings to watch this full movie due to me saying " ok thats enough" shutting it off..then coming back later and finishing it. Too creepy / weird/ sometimes just foolish for me.

First of all, I am in no way a Rob Zombie fan and I HATED his remake of Halloween, yes REMAKE, but House of 1000 Corpses wasn't all that bad. It was intended to be a throwback to the old "B" horror movies of the 70's and 80's that's why RZ had Karen Black and Sid Haig in it. The movie certainly is not a masterpiece, but it's actually ok and somewhat entertaining. It also accomplishes what RZ wanted to do and that is freak people out. I look at it as kind of a cross between Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Natural Born Killers.

The Devils Rejects is an entirely different kind of movie, it's more action oriented.

Yes, "1000 Corpses" was really just that - a somewhat dark humorous throwback to the old horror movies with Zombie's style and is not meant to be taken completely seriously.

Great movie and great transfer.. I would give it a 4.5/5 I thought the PQ was that good in it. AQ was top notch as well and all for $10.00 its a must own.

I liked it a lot. I think for 10 dollars if you like horror, then you'll appreciate this film

Wow, Devils Rejects is widely considered the better of the two films, and I would agree. Its much more a take on pop culture than the first. Also, I liked the first one up until the end. The whole, "is it a dream? is she dead?" made no sense to me and felt like a reach.
