Lord of the Rings blu Trilogy release date!!! - Blu-ray Forum

Not sure how reliable this is but Amazon Germany has the trilogy listed for November 27, 2009.. I have not seen any specific date for this anywhere so maybe yes maybe no??

There are a few places saying this is out by end of the year. Fingers crossed.

Awesome. I will have a 5.1 receiver/speaker system coupled with something like the Auzentech HT HD by the time this comes out. I shall make that my mission!

It is scheduled for release in time for the holiday season.

Im tempted... but im going to wait for the extended version to come out. Looks like i will be holding onto the dvd version for a while longer

release date has been known for a while...whats really making people mad is that an extended release version of the trilogy is already being planned. Most people are steering clear of this and are waiting for the extended release and will not buy the theatrical version
