No chance, there is no appeal. Waiting 20 years for the sequel ruined any sort of appeal that was there.

How high Walt? I'm not saying it's not possible but they waited way too long.

Somewhere around $35-$40M. Pretty high for a twenty years later sequel.

Dumb and Dumber To is gonna blow the competition away, y'all! Belee dat!!

No, but as much I would like Jim Carrey to have a great comeback to the big screen, no matter how funny (or not) it winds up being, I gotta go with:

1. Big Hero 6
2. Interstellar
3. Dumb and Dumber To

BTW, isn't Foxcatcher due out this weekend, or like Birdman, did that change too?

Yes. Also (supposedly) Whiplash is getting nationwide release this Friday too.

P.S Yeah I also think Dumb and Dumber To is going to major flop.

Birdman is going into 800 theaters. Foxcatcher is very limited. Whiplash isn't going that wide yet. Probably a couple hundred theaters. No more.

1. BIG HERO 6 - 37.7 MILLION (-33%)
2. DUMB & DUMBER TO - 34.63 MILLION (New)
3. INTERSTELLAR - 28.5 MILLION (-40%)
4. BEYOND THE LIGHTS - 10.9 MILLION (New)
5. GONE GIRL - 4.8 MILLION (-23%)
6. ST. VINCENT - 4.54 MILLION (-16%)
7. FURY - 4.052 MILLION (-28%)
8. NIGHTCRAWLER - 3.277 MILLION (-39%)
9. OUIJA - 2.817 MILLION (-52%)
10. BIRDMAN - 2.72 MILLION

I think Saving Christmas will probably make it into the top 10 too but I don't know what to predict for it so I'm not going to predict it.

Well, if America was dumb enough to choose Ouija over John Wick, than why can't they support Carrey and Daniels one more time?

One thing going for D&D is that it's been ages since there's been a straight comedy in wide release. There have been some dramedies though. What was the last one? Let's Be Cops? And now that's on DVD/Blu-ray.
