George Clooney. Given i haven't watched every single movie of his, but... hes like his real persona in every movie.

When i saw Gravity... i was like.... was he even acting at all? It was like he was at a Space Party, and they were filiming without him knowing.

Johnny Depp is an awful actor who gets blown up out of proportion because the better part of a whole generation (or is it two generations now?) wants to sleep with him; and the only reason Chloe Moretz is a big deal, is because she is the (not so) secret crush of a bunch of creepy pedophiles.

... and the only thing Gosling can act like, is a pud-pulling idiot.

Wait... when has Denzel ever played anyone but Denzel?
Sure, I'll admit that sometimes Denzel is guilty of what quite a few other actors tend to do on occasion. Which is to say that he often falls into the trap of just playing himself (many A-List Stars can easily begin to habitually follow this trend, such as George Clooney, Harrison Ford, etc...), but there are some excellent exceptions to that rule, times when Denzel treated fans to great portrayals, such as in...

1.) "Training Day"

2.) "He Got Game"

3.) "Fallen"

Three great, entertaining films. you may not have enjoyed them, although maybe you did ...I wouldn't know. But either way, Denzel gave compelling (and certainly not the usual run-of-the-mill performances in each of these features). Hell, the man won an Academy Award for "Training Day" (one of the few times I actually agreed with the Academy).

Default On a serious note...

One, I guess you could say old-school actor, who I never really considered to be a great screen talent would be Robert Mitchum. It may be just a minority opinion (although, several other elder film fans whom I've spoken to over the years have begrudgingly agreed that he wasn't exactly the most versatile of thespians). Heck, let's be honest ...Mitchum had less facial expressions than Robert Stack.

and Tom Hiddleston was a huge part of what I enjoyed about "Thor", "Thor 2: The Dark World" and "The Avengers" ...plus he made a reeeeeeeaaaaally cool automobile commercial with a bunch of other Brits (you might have seen it ...there was a helicopter and everything!)

Depp once had talent ...and Chloe is okay as an actress ...and Gosling ...ummm Gosling uh... aww who am I kidding ...Gosling might be able to pull off the role of a pud-pulling idiot if he had several more years of intensive acting classes.

With that said, pretty much every performance he's given, including Star Wars, is pretty flat.
I don't think the only great performance he's ever given was in "Witness".

He didn't do too badly in "Blade Runner". He was also somewhat great in "The Fugitive".

I haven't seen much of her work aside from the MCU, so she'll always be Black Widow to me before anything else. I first saw her in "The Island" with Ewan MacGregor, and the film as a whole didn't impress me.

I hate to admit it, but I'm definitely not the most computer savvy poster!

Side Note: I actually have to admit that really enjoyed at least one Mark Wahlberg film ..."Three Kings". I don't really know very much about him off camera, but truth be told, I love film, I couldn't really care less about an actor's/actress's personal and/or religious beliefs, politics, drug/alcohol abuse, sexual orientation/proclivities, etc... I don't even care if the person is a total raging horribly abusive racist. It's like this ...if I truly enjoy listening to music produced by a certain artist (or viewing paintings, sculptures, plays, films, etc... produced by a certain artist, than I won't stop enjoying the art itself just because I find out the the artist himself/herself is an A**Hole). I'm just able to separate the art from the artist. A particular singer or actor may prove themselves to be an abusive, racist ass, but if I enjoy listening to their music or if I enjoy watching films that they are in then I'll just continue to do so. No disrespect intended, as everyone is certainly entitled to their own opinion, but I learned a long time ago ...just because I enjoy someone's art, doesn't guarantee that I'd actually like the person themselves if I ever had the opportunity to get to know them.

I think the main reason why Moretz gets so much attention is her and her parents' inability to turn down a project (and she's done a lot of bad movies, such as Hick and Kick-Ass 2). The girl's only 17 but she's in a movie nearly every month it seems (much like James Franco but much younger). If she keeps this up, she's going to be a train wreck of Lindsay Lohan/Miley Cyrus proportions in a few years.
