Question TV Series' You Want the Most on Blu-ray

What TV shows (past and present) do you wish for the most (however unlikely) to be released on Blu-ray?

For me, it not surprisingly is "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel" (along with a little shout out to "Alias" as well).

Note: Only list series' that have yet to be officially announced or even hinted at for a Blu-ray release.

Not too anxious for TVBD, save a few

24 (Cannot WAIT for these, waiting for the Release Date Announcement)
Rescue Me
And I wouldn't mind seeing Reaper on BD after watching all of those Episodes in HD.

Other than that....meh...

I'd love to see Samurai Jack on Blu-Ray, but unlike the standard DVDs, I'd like the widescreen sequences to become wider, not get letterboxed.

Also, I'm hoping the upcoming Clone Wars series gets a Blu-Ray release when the time comes.

Thumbs up

- 24
- Prison Break
- Rescue Me
- Heroes
But I really hope in the near future everything will be on blu ray, because it's definitely worth paying more for the quality.

I'd love for more of the 1960's TV series that were originally shot on 35mm film to be released on blu-ray, because they look amazing. Probably at the top of my list would be I Dream of Jeannie, which I'm positive was shot on film.

I would also love to see the 60's Batman and The Green Hornet TV series in blu-ray - heck, I'd even settle for a plain DVD release!! (None appears likely in the near future, sadly).

Of the more recent series, I would love to see Star Trek TNG on blu-ray, but that series will be more complicated to transfer to HD because even though it was shot on film, it was edited on video and the special effects were made in 480 resolution, from what I've read. So that's apparently a more complicated process that was the case with Star Trek TOS.

The same probably goes for The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, which made heavy use of digital special effects, but it was all probably done in 480 resolution back in the day.

Chris Carter's Millennium would be awesome. Don't see it happening anytime soon though, especially not before X-files
