Reputation grind to rank 5 is insane. I think it's extremely lame that reputation resets after this event.

For those curious wearing iron banner emblem, shader, and class item with the tempered buff nets you 74 rep per win. This is without any medallions from losses. Turning in a bounty gives you 146 rep.

3+ hrs of Iron Banner and I only managed 1800 rep while completing 4 of the 6 bounties today.

For me, going up against higher levels than me (I'm Hunter 26/27) is not causing me the frustration but its the players I get put with who can't hit a barn door

I agree it is a real grind. I only managed a couple of hours last night but didn't go up a rank. I was at Rank 1 from the last event so I enabled the buff and managed to turn in 3 Iron Banner Bounties and didn't get to Rank 2, felt like I got no where

Got the Last Word Hand Cannon from Xur last weekend for Iron Banner but I'm not feeling it just yet. I've only managed to put a few upgrades on so I may feel different as I progress. It would probably be a load better once I get 'Perfect Balance' - extremely low recoil and a few more damage upgrades

Good stuff guys, but sadly I didn't get the gauntlets yet again. I did get my 4th VoC, 2nd Found Verdict, and 1st Corrective Measure. Looking forward to leveling CM up to see how it compares to Swarm. I did try it out this morning and it definitely feels like more of a machine gun. Swarm is surely effective, but it is so stable I don't feel like I'm shooting at all.

Used Gjallahorn with Atheon there at the end and it worked out pretty darn good. When you guys went into the portal for the third time, I saw that he was only down to a tick of health and I tried to be a hero. I guess it's because I had the rocket launcher equipped, and I couldn't jump high enough to avoid the damn supplicant.

I had a great night yesterday, completed nightfall, weekly, daily, hard raid, and about 1 hour on IB.

Notable loot was:

Gallajhorn (2nd one) from Nightfall
Ice Breaker (2nd one) from Atheon
Raid Boots (FINALLY CAN HIT 30 NOW!!!)


IB will definitely be a grind. I would say probably 4-6 hours to get to rank 3 (with a decent team). Level 30's are near invincible wow, I ran against a team of 4 30's and 2 29's--very hard to drop someone.

That was my first time in the middle as well, and I got 'blasted' many times when we tried on hard.

As for IB, I'm barely rank 1 and I don't feel like trying to grind to 4 only to find myself short in six days. I'll continue to roll the dice in VoG. However, the Judgement VI shotgun looks pretty nice. I only need about 75 more crucible marks. Decisions....

That's 2 straight Raids that I didn't get anything. Sunday I used my Warlock for the first time in the Raid, got nothing. Then last night was hoping to get the last Raid piece for the Hunter, got nothing. Currently on a cold streak right now so I'm hoping I can snap it next week. I'm starting to get the feeling I won't reach 30 until the expansion pack comes out. At least my 3rd character (Titan) should be Raid ready by then. Like you said, I'll do the same, continue rolling the dice Raiding.

Sounds like we were all kinda mixed up there, I prefer the middle but was on the right, lol. I like being in the middle near the back, I can hide behind the pillar if needed and can hit anything in the center, right, and all the snipers! It feels like the perfect spot to me.

Finally did the Raid. It was fun. Thanks everyone for helping a noob at it. Of course I only got Atheon's auto rifle and shards/energy. I was hoping for at least 1 peice of raid gear. I didnt think it was that hard just a little time consuming. At least I know why everyone is complaining about the glitches. They are real. lol

I dont think I am going to grind IB. I hate the PvP and I also got Dragon Age. I need to do Nightfall sometime this week.

She is part of the Dark Below dlc, which isn't out yet.

Yeah, changing up positions at the confluxes and oracles took some getting used to, but it's good to know as many different roles as possible. The only thing I haven't done yet is going into the portals at the gatekeeper stage. Not sure I'm ready for that just yet, but soon.

I'll be on later this evening to help with nightfall and stuff.

Now that I have three raid-ready characters, I need to find one more raid spot this week. If anyone has a normal raid they need to run other than our standing Sunday raid, and you need a spot filled, hit me up.

I have found that the ice breaker will kill a gate lord in like 5 shots? It's not hard to do, plus the best part of this whole game is running around with the relic bashing stuff, it's a shame to miss out on this!

I got my 10 mins of fame holding the Relic last night!

Better be on this evening to help me with Nightfall and possibly weekly. I want to get the weekly stuff done before I do anymore Raids, aside from my SUnday one.

Also need to hurry up and level up the Titan so I can have 3 guys to Raid every week.
