I honestly prefer the Thai poster art.

Any word on the region code?

Sounds like an excellent release, day 1 for sure.

EDIT: I guess Grindhouse did the old SE disc too, so it's no surprise they're retaining the same audio options as before!

We don't know the blu-ray specs yet. He inadvertently posted the extras from DVD edition.

All we know about blu release is the release date (Feb. 10) and that it will be a super-deluxe 3 disc special edition.

I wish they'd zoom out the artwork to the full re-release poster, if they're going to use it.

Thai artwork is cooler, but I'd rather see the Italian artwork for a change.

I have the steelbook from Arrow and love it, but will definitely buy this too. This is one of the few movies I like enough to get multiple versions of. I don't really know what I like about it so much, it is vaguely incoherent and has some truly crappy scenes in it (ex, the spider attack), but something about it has gotten me to watch it many times over the years and still love it every time. I think part of it is how likable the leads are and part of it is how weird the atmosphere is.

Im trying to cut down on duplicates..its very true some films are worth owning more than one copy. I have at least 3 releases of the Wizard of Oz
I finally retired my Media Blasters DVD of Fulcis Zombie since I have two blu rays of it.. I just don't have the room for multiple copies. I wish I did though

I too have the Arrow steelbook of this film but I'm definitely preordering this ASAP. If Grindhouse put as much care and love into this as they did with their awesome Cannibal Holocaust release (which I'm sure they will) I will be one very very very very happy camper.

In any case, this is the best Blu-Ray news of 2015 for me so far. I'm giddy.

I wonder what the other disks will be?? The soundtrack on one of them I hope?

Bam bam!! 4+ months go by after Cannibal Holocaust streets, and then wow knocking out 2 releases in the same month (the same DAY even).

For some reason, this is the only one of my Grindhouse DVDs that I never delved into, I started the movie late one night, got tired and barely got into it, and just never went back. So needless to say I'm excited to finally see this thing in its fully glory in HD! Amazing that it seems to be getting the same treatment as CH.

This is great great news. I can expect the Grindhouse release to have the correct theatrical color timing with the scenes shot day for night and such, and that color timing makes a huge difference for me.

This is my favorite Fulci movie. If Grindhouse puts as much effort into this as they did for their Cannibal Holocaust blu-ray, this will be amazing.

You mean, if they just re-hash their old transfer...?

(which is what they did with CH)

I mean, the extras were great, sure, but transfer-wise, CH was sadly a bit of a missed opportunity for Grindhouse.

I don't own Cannibal Holocaust. I saw the movie once years ago and found no replay value in it. So I only based my comment on what I've heard from others about that release -- including the review on this site. But this is the first I've heard anything negative about it.

I just hope that Grindhouse Releasing doesn't muck up the prologue like arrow video did!
