I think that's more bad luck than anything. Injuries and not enough depth at the position compared to last year.

The mistakes are Percy Harvin and Golden Tate and whatever is happening now with Lynch.

Golden Tate is worth the 5-6m a year the Lions are paying him. He makes big special teams plays too.

They rely heavily on defense but apparently that defense is not currently championship caliber. Also appears Wilson isn't as good as everyone thought when he has to do more than drive the bus.

Not sure why people keep giving Alex Smith $, the guy is little more than a bus driver and never will be, he's been in the league for 10 years now. He's not suddenly going to become a stud.

If this is true than it's the reason Brady, Rodgers and Brees will always be a better QB's than Peyton Manning, having a record is nice but a championship is better.

Guess after McNabb Reid wanted a guy who plays it safe, I'd rather have a Donovan McNabb type than a bum like Smith. Rodgers is a better QB than Peyton. Might not be quite as accurate but is far better at moving in the pocket, Manning is still way too susceptible to down man pressure as the Rams proved on Sunday.

Because they care more about winning championships and are team players. 10yrs from now the only thing Manning can used to say he is the better QB is his stats.

While Brady, Rodgers and Bress will be going about with their rings.

I hope Brady wins another one, Rodgers wins a couple more and Bress wins another one though.

Brady sure. Rodgers still needs to win another and perform at this level for many years. Brees will never be considered better than Peyton.

The team should just pay 50-100 grand to a company and get the stadium professionally cleaned.

The problem is, that all available resources are being used to help people dig out of the Buffalo snow, to get to important things, like Doctor appointments, etc., so to pull resources from that important effort would come across as insensitive.

The league also announced the game will be televised by CBS in the New York and Buffalo area markets. No mention of any other TV coverage.

Bills coaches were hoping to fly to Detroit on Friday and practice there in the evening in order to get in two practices before Monday night's game, a source said. However, the biggest challenge remained getting everyone safely to the airport, which has remained open because it is north of where much of the storm hit. About 85 percent of players live in the towns south of Buffalo, hit hardest by the storm.

Bills coach Doug Marrone and his staff have been living at the Bills' headquarters since Tuesday. They've been going over the game plan and consulting with the team by phone and computer because a majority of the players have been snowed in and those who can get out are unable to travel to the facility.

"The logistics are very difficult," Brandon said. "We've had a lot of brainstorming sessions, and really trying to target all of our guys that are in very difficult situations. Some of the guys have been in apartment complexes that are not plowed in any shape or form and very difficult to get out."

This marks the second time the Bills will play at Ford Field this season following a 17-14 win over the Lions on Oct. 5.

It also is the second time in four years the facility has hosted a neutral-site game. The last time an NFL game was moved to Ford Field unexpectedly, the 45,000 fans who did show up witnessed a bit of history. Brett Favre's streak of 297 regular-season starts ended that night -- on Dec. 13, 2010 -- when the Minnesota Vikings lost to the New York Giants 21-3. Favre was sidelined by shoulder and hand issues.

That game was moved to Detroit because the Metrodome roof collapsed.
