So the best way is use your mote of light for Xur for the exotic helmet if I don't want to Raid hard yet? Only way I'll Raid is if I'm surrounded with 30's. Oh yeah, Donald got his final piece to get 30 for his Hunter

I'm going to try and finish IB tonight and get to Rank 4. Don't think i'm going for Rank 5 as its been painful enough being put with randoms and I've played nothing but Crucible all week.
Good thing is that I've got out of playing IB this week is I've a load of Crucible marks to spend, got a Jolders Hammer on a drop, picked up the boots and I'll probably end up getting the gauntlets tonight.
After tonight I'm having a break from Destiny and try the new Battlefield 4 DLC I have yet to play.

Are the IB boots and gauntlets class specific? If not I will buy some more but I don't want to glimmer farm for nothing. Quite sure they are but wanna be 100% sure.

I'll take some of that. That will give me plenty of time to complete before Benny's Raid at 8:00 cst.

I haven't seen this confirmed anywhere, but it "appears" that the engram will decode into an armor piece for a class OTHER than the class buying it and decrypting it. I'm 3 for 3, and have read similar stories many times on the Bungie forum. But, since you have three characters, I'd buy a helm engram from each, and hopefully they'll all decode for the others.

tried this several times yesterday on all different levels of difficulty and it didn't work. i think they fixed it

This, you can get 10K in under an hour, I have farmed so much glimmer there it is unreal. You can get over 400 glimmer each spawn.

Lemme take you out there again, I know what happened when I took you there. If you kill the last guy at the spot I showed you, then the mission will continue and save at the checkpoint after the glimmer area. You then HAVE to complete the entire mission so that you can start at the beginning again. When I took you there it was at a point after the farming area.

I was farming there last night again. At one point I got 2K glimmer just from network keys dropped in the session.

I think I'll do my Dailies after I reached my desired rank over in IB. Then you'll see me farming glimmer. I'll be on, hopefully by 4:30 for about an hour. Then dinner time, and then back online during the evening for Dailies.

Me, too, though everyone is leaving Friday. There's no way I could sneak away to even do dailies. Hopefully I can get at least one nightfall in tomorrow, either before or after the raid. The rest will need to wait until Friday afternoon.
